ISLAMABAD - Champions Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) had to settle for a 0-0 draw against a determined Army in the 9th Pakistan Premier Football League-2012 at the KRL Stadium on Saturday.

KRL started the match as firm favourites to win this tie, but to their utter surprise Army defenders stood like a solid wall and never allowed KRL strikers any chance to score. The first half ended 0-0 and it was hoped that the match would take momentum in the second half but Army defence denied KRL strikers from taking the lead.  Zia-ul-Islam of KRL was shown the yellow card for committing a foul in the 66th minute. Army defender Shahid Zamir was shown yellow card in the 74th minute. Either side fail to break the ice and settle for a 0-0 draw. Masroor Ahmed Army defender was named player of the match for his brilliant work in the defence.
