Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has announced a Rs two billion package for the flood-hit areas. The premier has also directed an immediate release of Rs 710 million for the flood-affectees. In addition, he announced relief package of Rs 200 million each for Jacobabad and Kashmor, and Rs 100 million each for Ghotki, Mirpur Khas and Sukkur. According to details, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday had an aerial view of the flood-affected areas. On the Jacobabad Airbase, he was briefed on the destruction made by the recent torrential rains. To mark the occasion, he asked the authorities to provide 25000 tents to shelter the flood-affectees. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf also vowed to announce relief packages for Southern Punjab and Balochistan.
