Corruption has now become a national security threat, akin to economic terrorism and is devouring the state of Pakistan.
It is a serious menace for us and it has halted socio-economic development of the state, undermines the institutions, ethical values and development and prosperity of the state and results in widespread unemployment and soaring of poverty and beggaring and has made us dependent on other countries. It implodes the country from within and makes the state vulnerable, invitng foreign aggression. Today, Pakistan is simmering and smoldering because of this scourge.
Therefore, similar national action plan that was adopted against terrorism in wake of APS massacre, be bring into action against corruption to root out this evil, once and for all.
