Pakistani civilian injured in fresh Indian firing in Kotli

Kotli: Indian security forces continued violation of the ceasefire agreement at line of control, as unprovoked Indian firing  and shelling today injured a Pakistani civilian, in Battal sector of Kotli area of Azad Kashmir.

Pakistan Army soldier was killed in cross border firing on Tuesday, a few days after Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh assured, a visiting Pakistani delegation that India would not fire a first bullet across the disputed Kashmir border.

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), unprovoked firing by Indian troops on the Line of Control (LOC) has continued. Indian security forces opened unprovoked firing at Battal sector. Pakistani forces have given befitting response to the unprovoked Indian aggression.

More than 25 Pakistanis have lost their lives in incidents of cross-border firing by India, in the past three months. Tuesday’s incident came days after Pakistani border officers met with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi to discuss how to avoid skirmishes, which also cause civilian casualties on both sides.
