ISLAMABAD – First two matches of the 3rd 15-aside Servis Tyres Rugby Premier League were played at Islamabad Rugby Club on Tuesday. In first match, Islamabad Jinns recorded victory against Lahore Hawks. The match started with good team spirit. Islamabad team was very experienced side while Lahore Hawks was a new club with a lot of spirit. At the half time, the score was 15-0 in favour of Islamabad. In the second half, Islamabad teams dominated as Saad Arif and Zeeshan Rizvi scored two tries each while Yahya Bhatti and Ibrahim scored one try each. In the second match, defending champion Pakistan Army won against DHA Wild Bears Lahore by 38-0. Army boys played superb rugby and outplayed DHA. At half time score 17-0 was in favour of Army. The second half saw Army playing very well. Nasir scored two tries while Waqar, Nobahar, M Javed and Anjum Sajjad scored one try each while all 4 tries converted by Faiz Dogar.
