LAHORE - Four civil judges delegation hailing from Gilgit-Baltistan Friday called on Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif after completing their training at the Punjab Judicial Academy. The judge thanked the chief justice for the cordial and enviable atmosphere and benign guidance during the training course in Lahore. The judge said they will remember the hospitality and generosity of the people of Punjab for a long time and added that they had taken professional training which will help them in dispensation of justice in the province of Gilgit-Baltistan. Talking to them the chief justice observed that Gilgit-Baltistan is a beautiful site with a lot of resources blessed by Almighty Allah. The chief justice advised the civil judges to dispense justice to all on merit with the fear of Almighty Allah while performing their duties. The civil judges were also presented gifts. The judges requested Khawaja Sharif to visit Gilgit-Baltistan as the members of bench and bar they are very anxious to greet him. due to his sacrifices for the independence of judiciary led by chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry.
