KARACHI As many as nine matches in the qualifying round of the 6th Pizza Hut Open Ranking Tennis were decided on the opening day of the championship which began here Friday at Beach View Club DHA with enhanced prize money. For the first time in six years, the sponsors have increased the prize money in the competition offering bigger prizes in the mens singles event in which all the top national stars located in the city are taking part. The Sindh Tennis Association is organising the championship as part of its development programme.
