PAKPATTAN - Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is a democratic party which restored the Constitution of Pakistan in its real shape. He said that credit goes to President Zardari who transferred his powers to the Parliament. He lauded the rule of lawyers and the media for independent judiciary and restoration of democracy in the country. He was addressing the members of District Bar Association Pakpattan. He also announced the grant of Rs 0.8 million for District Bar Association Pakpattan. Wattoo said PPP believes in rule of law and provincial autonomy and thats why, the PPP government is decentralising the departments so that people may not face difficulties. On this occasion, former Provincial Minister Pir Ghulam Mohyuddin Chishti, former MNA Pir Muhammad Shah Khagga, former MPA Dewan Azmat Saeed Muhammad Chishti, Liqat Ali Khan Baloch, President DBA Pakpattan were also present.
