QUETTA - Two people were shot dead including a police Hawaldar in Lasbela and Chagai districts of Balochistan on Saturday. In the first incident, unidentified people opened fire on Hawaldar Hameed Baloch in Lasbela district and escaped from the scene. As a result, he sustained critical wounds and succumbed to injuries. Motive behind the murder could not be known immediately. Police handed over body to heirs after completing legal formalities and started further investigation into the killing. In the second incident, a person was gunned down by armed men in Birapcha area of Chagai located at Pak-Afghan border. Levies officials said unidentified people shot Abdul Qadoos dead and managed to flee from the scene, adding the incident seemed to be a case of old enmity. Meanwhile, unknown people set office of National Party on fire in Khuzdar, some 360 KM away from Quetta. The fire damaged office and furniture, however, nobody was injured in the incident.
