KASUR-Media is the fourth pillar of the state as it not only highlights the public problems but also suggests a solution to them.
This was stated by District Health Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdul Majid during a visit to a blood screening camp set up at Kasur Press Club here the other day.
He thanked the journalist community for highlighting their faults and mistakes in a positive manner which, he claimed, brought efficiency to their work. He said that the health department would continue working for the welfare of the people of Kasur as per priorities of the Punjab government. “The department always remains busy working on the provision of better healthcare to the masses,” he claimed.
District Health Officer Dr Laiq Ahmed, District Coordinator Ramazan Shahid and other health officials were present on the occasion.
Kasur Press Club President Mehr Javed said that the journalists working in remote areas suffered a great deal of inconvenience due to lack of facilities. He thanked the CEO health for his efforts to set up a blood screening camp at the press club. Mediamen including Haji Sharif Mehr, Saleem Anjum, Tariq Mehmood Jutt and Aslam Khan Myo were present on the occasion.
