KARACHI AO Blues emerged victorious by five wickets over hosts Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) in a low-scoring match of the 23rd Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at the AKG Ground here the other day. Needing 95 for victory, AO Blues lost half of their side in reaching the target in the penultimate over of the game with Asif Siddiqui sticking two fours and one six in a 27-ball knock of 30. All-rounder Tariq Haroon remained unbeaten with 19. AKG had scored disappointing 94 with seven balls to spare. AKG skipper Mir Afzal Baig took two for 13 with his off-spinners. Earlier, Afzal was the joint top-scorer for his side as he and Murtaza Majeed each scored 27 in AKGs innings. Off Spinner Mohammad Aslam bagged three wickets for 15 runs and was declared Man-of-the-Match for his great effort.
