KHYBER AGENCY - As many as 12 persons were killed in three separate bomb blasts here in Tirrah Valley on Tuesday, official and local sources informed. The sources said that first incident took place in Tarkhokas in the jurisdiction of tehsil Bara where two roadside planted improvised explosive devices (IED) went off, killing nine persons and wounding scores of others. The remote control bombs were detonated when a convoy of vehicles of one of the defunct organisations was passing through the area. In the second incident, a vehicle of militants was targeted with bomb in Tor Dara, Mehraban Kalay, tehsil Jamrud. Three militants were killed in the attack. The three killed militants were stated to be volunteers of TTP, sources said. It is worth mentioning that two banned militant organisations have been fighting in Tirrah Valley since long. The infighting has caused loss of human lives, besides compelling dwellers to evacuate the area.
