ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan declared the party elections of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) as valid. The commission also allotted electoral symbol to a Bahawalpur-based political party. During a meeting of the ECP held on Tuesday attended by the chief election commissioner, secretary and all the four members of the commission, the ECP did not find any discrepancy in the partys electoral process and declared these polls at valid. The PML-N party elections were held at Convention Centre on July 27 in which the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif was elected unopposed as the partys president. Javed Hashmi, Sartaj Aziz, Sardar Yaqoob Nasir, Raja Farooq Haider and Syed Ghous Ali Shah were elected as Senior Vice Presidents while Ahsan Iqbal and Mushahid Ullah Khan were elected as Partys Deputy Secretary General and Secretary Information respectively.
