PESHAWAR :Unknown persons barged into the house of Najma Hanif in Hayatabad and opened firing, killing her on the spot. Najma was a candidate for one of reserved seats for women in KP assembly. Her body was taken to her ancestral city Swabi. It is worth mentioning here that Najma’s husband, Hanif Jadoon and 16-year-old son were killed in suicide attack in 2011. ANP chief Asfand Yar Wali Khan has condemned the incident and expressed grief over losing an important party leader.
