PESHAWAR  - The death toll in rain-related incidents reached 18 Saturday.
The heavy rainstorm hit provincial capital on Friday, killing 12 people, including six children. On Saturday, hospital sources said that at least six more injured people also died.  More than five dozen sustained wounds in the disaster. Thirteen people, including three children and 10 woman and, were still in hospitals while 40 people were discharged.
Those who were died at the Lady Reading Hospital were identified as Jamal, Abuzar, Ihsan, Tuflika, Savera, Laiba, Ibrahim, Salman while three were unidentified.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, while declaring rainstorm in Peshawar and its suburbs as natural calamity, announced compensation for the victims. He also directed for declaring emergency in the three big hospitals of the provincial metropolis. The CM summoned all medical staff for duty and announced a compensation of Rs0.3 million for the family of each killed, Rs50,000 for each injured and financial assistance of Rs0.1 million for any person disabled in the incident.
More to fall:  Experts have forecast more rains with isolated heavy falls for parts of the country including the federal capital till Sunday morning.  Rain-thundershower accompanied by windstorm occurred at scattered places in KP, Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir and GB.
According to experts, seasonal low lies over North Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending northeastwards. Moderate monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country.
The Met Office  forecast rain-thundershowers at scattered of Islamabad, Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, D G Khan divisions), Khyber PK (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D I Khan divisions), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and at isolated places in Faisalabad, Multan, Sibbi, Zhob, Quetta, Kalat, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions during the next 24 hours.




Isolated heavy falls are also expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Hazara divisions and Kashmir during the period.
On Saturday, Sialkot received 111 mm rain, Chakwal 108 mm, Noorpurthal 91 mm, Gujrat 81 mm, M B Din 74 mm, Sargodha 72 mm, Joharabad 70 mm, Rawalpindi 66 mm, Jehlum 66 mm, Mangla 62 mm, Kotli 53 mm, Murree 43 mm, Bhakkar 41 mm, Peshawar 38 mm, Gujranwala 34 mm, Dir 30 mm, Saidusharif 29 mm, Islamabad 26 mm,  Parachinar 25 mm, Lower Dir 21 mm, Chirat and Chitral 19 mm each, Mirkhani 18 mm, Rawlakot 17 mm, Kalam 15 mm, Drosh 12 mm, Kakul and Risalpur 11 mm each, Balakot and Muzaffarabad 10 mm each, Pattan 08 mm, Barkhan 07 mm, Astore and Gupis 05 mm each, Malamjabba 04 mm, Jhang 03 mm, Garhidupatta and D I Khan 02 mm each, Hunza 01 mm.
