LAHORE – Lahore Lions kabaddi team defeated Royal Kings USA by 62-50 in their second match of World Kabaddi League (WKL) at LG Arena Birmingham, England on Saturday. Lahore Lions topped their pool with four points. Raider Shafiq Chishti once again played well and played significant role in his team's triumph, therefore, declared man of the match. The green shirts dominated the proceeding right from the beginning and did not allow their opponents to settle down. Skipper Babar Gujjar, Lala Abaidullah and Akmal Shahzad Dogar also played a key role for their team. For Royal Kings, Balram Singh and Narvinder Singh played well. The performance of Lahore Lions team was widely lauded and it was hoped that they would continue performing well in the league and win glory for the country.–Staff Reporter
