KARACHI - Pakistan's top golfer M Shabbir Iqbal maintained his top position at the leader board on the second day of Sindh Open Golf by firing 4-under-par 68 second round in Rs2million 16th Sindh Open Golf Championship at Arabian Sea Country Club here on Saturday.  Shabbir carded 69 in the first round, improved his showing to end the second round with a 2-day aggregate of 137 to massive five stroke lead over Imdad Hussain of Lahore Gymkhana. Shabbir made five birdies and one bogey to consolidate his position in 54-hole contest. Imdad was at No 2 with rounds of 72 and 71. Matloob Ahmed of Lahore Gym played a round of 4-under-par 68 to jump third position with Imdad Hussain, Nisar Hussain and M Ashfaque. In the Rs 500,000 prize senior professionals, Asghar Ali and Ghulam Nabi both of Lahore Gymkhana were tied with total of 145.–APP
