LAHORE - On special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, 12 trucks of relief items, including 4500 food hampers, have been dispatched for the people affected due to heavy rains in Peshawar .
The Chief Minister, while expressing deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives and properties in Peshawar due to rains, said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government was standing with the affected brothers and sisters in hour of distress.
He said that every possible help would be extended to the rain-affected people and more relief items would be sent for them according to their need. He said that helping the affected Pakhtun brothers and sisters was a national and religious obligation.
