KARACHI- PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has nominated former Interior Minister Rehman Malik as focal person for contacts with other political parties in the wake of the ongoing political crisis.

Party sources said today that Rehman Malik would meet different leaders and keep Asif Zardari informed.  They said Rehman Malik has been appointed focal person after reservations expressed by opposition parties about the role of Syed Khursheed Shah.

The sources also said that the leadership of PPP was unhappy with Khursheed Shah over his meetings with political leaders without taking leadership into confidence.
