rawalpindi - Two persons were killed in two separate firing incidents in Tarnol and Taxila areas yesterday.
Unknown gunmen riding motorcycle shot dead one person and injured another in Tarnol area. The deceased was identified as Yasir, 30, a resident of Ittefaq Colony.
Another person was killed in the jurisdiction of Police Station Taxila. The victim was identified as Amjad Pervez. Mudassar Khan lodged a complaint with Taxila police that Shafique, Adeel and Nausherwan have allegedly killed his uncle Amjad Pervez. Police have launched investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, a man was arrested for selling substandard meat in Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi.
The police told Online that Rashid Butt, a sanitary inspector, lodged a complaint with the local police that Rizwan Nazar, a resident of Sadiqabad, is selling substandard and dead animal meat to consumers.
On his complaint the police raided the shop, arrested the accused and launched interrogation.
