KARACHI - Sindh High Court on Tuesday granted last opportunity to Federal Interior & Foreign Ministries to file comments on petition against extradition of alleged Al-Qaeda leader Khalid Sheikh Mohammad & his other relatives to U.S. authorities. Ms Marium, a sister of Khalid Sheikh, filed fresh petition challenging extradition of her brother, which is unlawful, unconstitutional. She stated her son Ammar alias Ali Abdul Aziz, alleged to finance Al-Qaeda, two sons-in-law Abdul Basit alias Ramzi Yousuf and Abdul Qadir were also handed over to U.S. after its invasion of Afghanistan. She contended her nephew Abdul Karim Mehmood alias Abu Moosab Arochi & another relative Abu Hashim were also picked up following U.S. invasion of Afghanistan on suspicion of links with Al-Qaeda. She prayed to direct Federal Interior, Foreign Ministries to take steps for their repatriation. Matter was taken up before SHC division bench, comprising Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali & Justice Ali Sain Dino Metlo, who said: "Petition is pending for compliance of objections, but comments have not been submitted on behalf of respondents.'' Deputy Attorney General Amir Raza Naqvi & AAG Sindh Sarwar Khan sought time to submit comments on behalf of respondents. Court order said: ''As last opportunity, one more adjournment is granted till January 21, 2009."
