A spate of rains with thunder and drizzling has overtaken most parts of the country, while the hilly place in Kashmir and Northern Areas witnessing snowfalls. Met office said that the western breeze causing rains in large parts of the country have somewhat reduced the intensity of cold, but with the ending of spell of rains after two/three days, the weather was once again expected to get chill. Met office further said that some places of Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh during the next 24 hours, while the NWFP province, Kashmir and Northern Areas' most places at high altitude in mountains would be witnessing snowfall. Punjab planes after two days would slip into a spate of misty weather, it further forecast.
