ISLAMABAD - Port Qasim reached the final of Inter Region/Departments U-19 Three-Day Tournament 2012-2013 after playing draw against Rawalpindi Region on the final day of the Triangular Stage Pool A match here at the Pindi Stadium on Sunday.
Port Qasim will face ZTBL in the final being commenced from 19th at Pindi Stadium.
Rawalpindi had reached 65/2 in 13 overs in their second outing at close. Ahsan Abbasi was unbeaten at 32 while Khurrum Shahzad took 1 for 7.
Earlier Rawalpindi started their first innings at overnight score of 30/2 and was bundled out for 93. Talha unbeaten at 30. Khurrum took 4/39 while Irshad Khan and Ghulam Mudassar got 2 wickets each.
Port Qasim were all out for 139 runs in 39.1 overs. Saifullah scored 77 runs with 11 fours and one six. Abid Hasan took 5/46, Mir Waiz got 3/36 and Tauseeq got 2/12.
At Diamond ground, Lahore Shalimar and Sialkot Region ended in a no result as no play was possible on all the three days.
