KHYBER AGENCY - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khyber Agency, Organiser Iqbal Afridi has urged the government to let the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Khyber Agency to go back to homes immediately.

He called upon the stakeholders to forthwith shun the so-called war on terror in the tribal belt. Granting the right of vote to the tribal IDPs stationed in Jalozai refugees camp is agreeable but asked the Chief justice of Pakistan to take serious notice of human rights violation and play his constitutional role to minimize miseries of the tribal, he said this in a press conference held here in Landi kotal press club.

Iqbal Afridi said, “the government wrong policies met the tribesmen with enormous sufferings and have earned bad name for them. “How petty is that being part of Pakistani state, the government has failed to provide safety to tribal against the Americans drone strikes which have caused heavy lost there in terms of life and property, Afridi remarked.” He declined PTI alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Fata and stressed upon the common man to reject the opportunists and capitalists in the up-coming election and support candidates of political workers if they want to be served in better way.

Replaying a question he further said, I welcome the decision of deploying troops in Fata for polls, adding beside the fact that from security point of views the prevailing scenario is not favourable for some political parties but I am sure that the election will conduct free and fair under the umbrella of army in Fata. At the end Iqbal Afridi gifted the book of Imran Khan (Ghairatmand Musalman) to the press club President Ahmad Nabi and senior journalist Sudhir Ahmad Afridi.

Prior to it the Organiser of PTI Khyber along with elders and dozens of PTI workers inaugurated the party office in Landi Kotal bazaar.
