No room for terrorism in Islam: Pir Naqib

RAWALPINDI  - Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance; so there is no room for terrorism in it and its followers should promote Muslim unity while respecting sentiments of each other.
"We should neither give up our own path nor should we interfere with the belief of others," stressed Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman, custodian of Eidgah shrine, while addressing monthly congregation of Barhveen Sharif at Eidgah here on Monday.
"The Holy Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), came to this world as a blessing for all the worlds and turned the desert of Arabia into a garden of Islam with the high moral values," he elaborated. The custodian of Eidgah shrine said that the abodes of the saints are cradles of peace and affection. He said the saints did great work of spreading the message of Quran and Sunnah. He said the Muslims should abide by the teachings of Islam for making progress to succeed in this world and forgiveness of Almighty Allah on the Day of Judgement.
Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman further said that the followers of Islam should truly make Medina Munawwara their centre of gravity to overcome all the problems being faced by them nowadays.
Among others, Mufti Muhammad Sulaiman Rizvi, GA Haq Chishti, Maulana Farooq Usmani, Maulana Iqbal Rizvi, Maulana Mushtaq Ahmed Jalali, Maulana Usman Ghani, Maulana Ziaullah Ziayee, Maulana Zahoor Ahmed, Maulana Faisal Mahmood Naqshbandi, Maulana Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa, Allama Syed Arif Shah Gilani and Maulana Bashir Ahmed Sialvi also addressed the congregation while Sahibzada Muhammad Hassan Hasib-ur-Rehman, Ahmed Raza Jamaati and Gul Taaruf Naqshbandi recited Naats.
