LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Eagles scored a narrow 2-1 victory over Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL) Warriors in an exhibition soccer match here at the MFTA ground on Monday. Pervaiz Saeed and Shahid Khokhar scored one goal each for the winners while Ejaz Sheikh was the lone scorer from SJAL. PFF secretary Lt Col (r) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi distributed the winners and runners-up trophies to Abdul Rauf Bari of PFF Eagles and SJAL president Syed Ali Hashmi respectively. PFF secretary said such interactions would promote the game of football and strengthened the existing friendly relations between PFF and media as well. SJAL president Syed Ali Hashmi said: “Such recreational matches provide a very good chance to all of us to understand that it is not so easy to score.”–Staff Reporter
