RAWALPINDI - The Faculty of Basic Sciences (FBS) clinched the Inter-faculty Basketball Championship title after beating University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) by 46-42 in the final here at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) on Tuesday. PMAS-AAUR vice chancellor Prof Dr Rai Niaz Ahmad was the chief guest and distributed prizes and certificates among the players. He congratulated all the top performers and hoped they would continue to perform well. The three-day championship was organised by Directorate of Sports and eight teams participated in the event. A large number of students and faculty members were also present on their respective faculty teams matches and enjoyed the game and hoped that such event would be organised in future too.
