He expressed these views at the funeral prayer in absentia of the victims of the Peshawar attack, which was attended by a large number of political, social and religious personalities.

He said that the government’s demand of the arrest of Mullah Fazlullah is right, but to put an end to terrorism, it must have straight forward talks with United States of America (USA), Afghanistan and India.

Saeed said that for this purpose, the government must forget political and religious differences. The government’s decision to revoke prohibition on capital punishment is right as terrorists must be hanged to death in the intersections.

On the occasion, Saeed thanked Turkey and other Islamic countries for supporting Pakistan in this tough time. He further prayed for the stability of the country.
