LAHORE: CIA police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested four members of a dacoit gang involved in several armed robberies.
A police spokesperson said that the Model Town CIA police also recovered mobile phones, cash, and illegal weapons from their possession. The arrested bandits were identified as Allah Rakha alias Jambo and his three accomplices including Naqash Ijaz alias Billa, Babar Ali alias Danda and Muhammad Afzal.
A police team headed by DSP CIA (Model Town) Malik Dawood conducted a raid on a tip-off and arrested Jambo and his accomplices.
Lahore CCPO Muhammad Amin Wains has announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team.–Staff Reporter
