ABU DHABI – The 2014 Men's World Championships came to an end with a banquet at a local hotel in Abu Dhabi on late Sunday night. The event was played at Khalifa International Bowling Centre in Abu Dhabi. It was wonderful and festivity atmosphere everywhere. After playing tough and fierce battles, players were looking relaxed and friendly/cordial environment was all around, unlike during the competition. Six-member Pakistan bowling team along with coach and manager took part in all the events. Although the team failed to win medals but they won hearts and minds and gained much-needed experience, which would certainly help them in future events. Pakistan Sports Board director general Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera took time off and was present with the team for the last three days.
