LAHORE- Punjab Assembly today through an adopted resolution, slammed terrorist attack on a school in Peshawer in which around 124 children were martyred and over 150 injured.

Through the resolution presented by the Provincial Law Minister Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, the House condemned the terrorist attack in maximum possible term and condoled with the bereaved families. It termed the Peshawer attack history's worst incident of terrorism that had saddened every Pakistani.

The resolution endorsed on-going army operation in North Waziristan and urged all political and religious political parties to shed their petty differences. It also expressed complete solidarity and extended fullest support to Pak army to make the operation Zarb e Azb a complete success. The house offered ‘fateha’ for those army soldiers who embraced martyrdom during the operation.

Soon after the adoption of the resolution, the acting chair Sher Ali Gorchani adjourned the session for three days, till Monday afternoon, to mourn the national tragedy.
