Islamabad - Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) sent a medical team and blood donations to Peshawar to assist the hospitals treating victims of Army Public School attack.

The team of health officials included doctors, surgeons, nurses and paramedic staff, while blood donation included 127 blood bags mostly of O blood group. The Vice Chancellor of Zulfikar Bhutto Medical University-PIMS Dr Javed Akram said the blood bank of the hospital had been opened for donations for 24 hours and the donation would be sent twice a day to Peshawar.
