LAHORE - Following the deadliest terror attack at an army-run school in Peshawar, the security has been tightened at all the leading educational institutions across the provincial metropolis, official sources said on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said that the Lahore police are directed to tighten the security around private and public educational institutions to thwart the nefarious designs of the anti-state elements.

Lahore DIG Operations Haider Ashraf has also ordered the divisional SPs to deploy additional policemen on security duties at the schools where needed.
