LARKANA/MIRPURKHAS/JACOBABAD - Students and teachers of Government Boys Primary School, Ghulam Bhutto Larkana on Saturday took out a rally to express solidarity with the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
The rally started from Ghulam Bhutto village and culminated at Larkana Press Club. The participants were carrying banners and placards in their hands, inscribed with slogans to condemn terrorism and pay homage to martyrs and were also raising slogans in favour of Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies.
The speakers addressing the participants said that the whole nation was united to foil nefarious designs of terrorists.
They said that nation’s commitment and unflinching spirit had defeated terrorists across the country.
They also stated the spirit of nation was impressive and it would remain intact in future. Meanwhile, on the occasion, President Press Club S Iqbal Babu, students of various schools, boys scouts and others laid floral wreaths to pay glowing tribute to the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy.
In Mirpurkhas, Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) observed the day of martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar, Ali Garh and Qasba Colony carnage as well as the fall of Dhaka.
On this occasion Quran Khawani and Fateha Khawani were held at Jinnah Hall Municipal Complex in which hundreds of workers, office-bearers, including women and citizens, led by district organizer Mujibul Haq participated. The participants strongly condemned the incidents and demanded the higher authorities to create circumstances that could prevent the recurrence of such misfortunes. Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs of Army Public School, Peshawar here at Jacobabad on Saturday on the eve of third anniversary of the tragedy.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf [PTI] leaders and school students lit the candles and paid homage to the martyred students. They recalled the sacrifices of APS students who faced brutality of terrorists on the day of the attack.
Raaz Khan Pathan, the district information secretary PTI Jacobabad, who was chief guest at the ceremony held at Genius Public School, said that the sacrifices of APS martyrs could not be forgotten at any cost because they presented their precious lives against terrorism and gave a lesson to fight against terrorism The rich tribute was paid to martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar at Jacobabad, on the eve of third anniversary, here on Saturday.

Besides, terrorists have no religion and they could not weaken us through their cowardly attacks at public places and they would fail in their conspiracies, they concurred.
While in Shikarpur, Imamia Students Organisation [ISO] and Human Rights Foundation of Pakistan [HRFP] Shikarpur chapter took out rallies and lit the candles at Lakhi Gate and paid great homage to APS martyrs for their sacrifices.
On the occasion, Zulfikar Ali Soomro spoke and highlighted the sacrifices of martyrs.
It should be mentioned here that on 16th December 2014, an attack was carried out by a group of terrorists belonging to a banned organisation at Army Public School Peshawar which claimed 150 lives, mostly of young students.
