LAHORE – The President, Prime Minister of Pakistan and AJK, Nawaz Sharif, Shujaat Hussain, Altaf Hussain, chief ministers, governors and noted politicians, while congratulating NPT Chairman Majid Nizami’s efforts for holding 4TH annual NPT conference, have said the conference will bear fruits and recommend solutions to the problems the country is facing.They expressed these views through their messages to the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami and the Trust management on Thursday.
President Asif Ali Zardari, in his message, said the conduct of the NPC by the NPT was a commendable task of the NPT Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Nawaiwaqt Group. He hoped that the conference would create awareness among the new generation about Pakistan Movement, patriotism and the personalities of the Movement. The president said that the NPC would give recommendations to erase out provincialism, ethnic difference and sectarianism.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Nazaria-i-Pakistan provided a basis for the establishment of Pakistan that became centre of struggle the founders rendered for this country. Gilani lauded the services of Majid Nizami for strengthening democracy and pro-Pakistani sentiments among the masses. He said the need of time was to uplift the Ideology of Pakistan under the given national and international circumstances. The conference, he hoped, would develop national harmony and pave a way for promoting unity among different units of the country. The present government, he stressed, would give due weight to the recommendations of the conference.
PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif said the Ideology of Pakistan was part and parcel of his faith. The NPT Chairman Majid Nizami’s holding of NPC, at a time the country was facing serious threats both internal and external, was an applaudable act. He hoped that the conference would bring forth useful recommendations.
PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain remarked that the in time conduct of the NPT conference would be message for the political forces and ideological organisations to promote cooperation among them to resolve the issues. Majid Nizami, he said, promoted the Ideology of Pakistan through his speeches and writings. MQM Chief Altaf Hussain in his message appreciated the NPT for holding a three-day national conference to counter grave issues the country had been facing since long. He said we did not learn a lesson from the fall of Dhaka and continued the same policies in the rest of the country adding the NPC would give recommendations to save the country.
AJK Prime Minister Chaudhary Abdul Majeed in his message said under the aegis of Majid Nizami, the Nawaiwaqt Group and the NPT had been working hard since long to highlight the core issue of Kashmir on international level, hoping the Conference would be a ray of hope for the Kashmiri freedom fighters struggling against the Indian barbarism.
PML-Q Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed said the NPT’s holding of a conference was a good omen for every patriotic Pakistani. He said the NPT Chairman Majid Nizami always faced the cruelties of the rulers and said the right word during al the regimes. Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad paid tributes to Majid Nizami for holding such a wonderful conference who strived hard to bring peace in the country. He said today we should prefer national cause on the personal gains hoping, the NPC would prove itself to be a shield against anti state elements. Balochistan CM Nawab Aslam Raisani in his message applauded Majid Nizami’s efforts for conducting NPC. He said it would prove a milestone to reinforce the patriots.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah paid a rich tribute to Majid Nizami for his efforts to develop ideological awareness in the new generation.
