QUETTA – A local trader was killed by some unidentified miscreants in Khuzdar district, 360 kms southeast of Quetta, on Thursday. According to police sources, Hafiz Abdul Qadir Gulamani, a renowned trader of the area, was buying vegetables near Jilani Chowk of Khuzdar when some unknown armed men opened fire at him. He was rushed to District Headquarter Hospital with severe injuries but he succumbed to his wounds on the way.
Soon after the incident, the relatives of Abdul Qadir rushed to the hospital and strongly protested against the killing. Later on, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for burial after legal formalities. The police registered a case against unknown assailants and started the investigation.
