LAHORE : Pakistan Railways Employees (PREM) Union leaders have welcomed the restoration of goods and container special trains after four years. In a joint statement here on Sunday, PREM senior ice president Sh M Anwar, secretary general Khair Muhammad Tonio and others said the PREM would protest if efforts were made to privatize the Pakistan Railways. They said the department has been set on track of revival after right decisions of PR Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and some capitalists were now trying to purchase the railways. They demanded the restoration of railway board and posting of honest and senior railway officer as chairman railways.
