Rawalpindi - The excise and taxation department has sealed 10 commercial plazas at Gulraiz Housing Scheme during the last two days for non-payment of property tax, informed ETD spokesman yesterday.
According to him, a special team led by Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Nauman Khalid has conducted raids at Gulraiz Housing Society and sealed off ten commercial plazas for non-payment of property tax. The other members of team included Assistant ETO Gull Sher Khan and Inspectors Jahangir Khan and Younis Malik.
Talking to media persons, ETO Nauman Khalid said that raids are being conducted against the defaulters and their properties are also being sealed. He said the drive against the defaulters would continue without any pause. He urged the property owners to pay their tax at the earliest; otherwise, strict action would be taken against them.
