QUETTA A gas pipeline was blown up in Mastung town, some 50 kilometers away from Quetta on Tuesday. According to reports reaching here, unidentified people had fitted an explosive device with a gas pipeline in Mastung town. The device exploded and badly damaged the pipeline. Resultantly, gas supply to different areas of Mastung was suspended. Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) officials said that repair work of damaged pipeline has started and gas supply would be restored soon to the affected areas. Police said that a case had been registered against unknown persons and search is underway to arrest the culprits.
