ISLAMABAD - A young passenger was killed by a public service bus conductor as he pushed him out on road and caused his causing his death on the spot, police said on Saturday. The incident took place near Zia Masjid stop on Islamabad Highway. The area falls in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town police station. While quoting the statement of the complainant, a co-passenger, police said that Atif 18, boarded a Gujjar Khan-bound bus (7682) from Pindora to Zia Masjid. When the speedy bus reached near Zia Masjid stop, the conductor of the bus pushed Atif out in a jiffy to 'save time. Resultantly, he was crushed under the back wheel of the same bus and died on the spot. Police said that both the conductor and the driver who earlier fled the crime scene had been arrested and a case under section 319 was registered against them.
