ISLAMABAD - M Owais, Haris and Syed Muntazir Ali helped East Zone beat West Zone by 4 wickets in the Regional U-19 Cricket Tournament 2018-19 match here at Bhutto Cricket Ground Tuesday. East Zone won the toss and opted to field first. The decision paid off, as they restricted West Zone to 134 runs in 39.3 overs. M USman scored 41 and opener M Hassan Nawaz 20. Pacer Hairs ripped through West Zone top order claiming 4-37 while M Owais captured 4-23. East Zone replied well and achieved the target for the loss of 6 wickets. Syed Mutazir Ali slammed match-winning unbeaten 45. Hair was named player of the match. Bhutto Cricket Academy chairman Chaudhry Ajmal Sabir graced the occasion as chief guest and handed cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the winners and Rs 5000 each to Haris, Muntazir and Owais.
