Once again the Indian belligerence is about to disturb the highly vulnerable South-Asian peace equation. It is unfortunate that since the independence, Pakistan and India have often failed to resolve bilateral disputes through diplomatic means and gone to military conflicts a number of times. One factor that has always been a permanent bottleneck in maintaining the peace between these two countries is the constant war-mongering by Indian politicians that is further exploited by the Indian news media. This practice has actually increased the likelihood of turning a temporary military stand-off into a full-fledged nuclear-conflict. So, for the sake of humanity, a permanent conflict-resolution mechanism should be devised to defuse any untoward situation. Resumption of different diplomatic channels can help solve this imbroglio. Therefore, peace should be given a chance, one more time!
