I want to draw the authority’s attention towards a painful issue that the number of organ business has been increasing rapidly. People from various countries come to Pakistan for kidney and liver transplantation since in Pakistan many organ donation centers are present for the sake of social help and humanity but very few go forward to donate organs for humanity, rather many go for selling their organs. It is the poorest of the poor who would be compelled to sell their precious organ, and it is only the rich that would take benefits from it. According to a media report, province Punjab is notorious for this worst commercial business, and almost half of the villager in Punjab have sold their kidney. However, many Pakistani go to foreign countries to sell their organ to the rich. So, my request is to Nawaz Khan, the chairman of Pakistan’s parliamentary committee on human rights to surface this issue once again and find a viable solution as soon as possible.
