“Today, our four valiant soldiers embraced martyrdom in unprovoked firing by

Indian forces. The nation salutes these

martyrs and prays to Almighty Allah to grant fortitude to their families.”

–Khurram Dastgir-Defence Minister

Senate Standing Committee on Defence has unanimously condemned and denounced the recent statement of Bipin Rawat, Indian Army Chief, in which he called the nuclear umbrella of Pakistan a bluff and openly stated the possibility of crossing the international border. Never like before, the Indian leadership now constitutes of warmongering leaders like Narendra Modi, Manohar Parrikar, Ajit Doval, and Bipin Rawat. The number of cease fire violations at the Line of Control (LoC) has increased many folds. Only in 2017, Indian committed more than 1900 ceasefire violations, while only fifteen days of the new year of 2018 have passed and India has violated the cease fire a hundred times. The western media, especially, the U.S’ media is utterly silent on the simmering issue of human rights violation in Kashmir, and ceasefire violations at the LoC.

Pakistan should not only raise the issue at the international forum but also try to find the political solution of the problem because it is not only the military personnels who are losing their lives but a number of civilian casulaties have also been reported.
