MIRANSHAH (Online) - At least four militants were killed when security forces retaliated militants attack on a security check post in South Waziristan Agency, while security forces arrested six militants in Khyber Agency on Thursday. According to media reports reaching here, militants attacked a security forces check post in Speenkai Raghzai area of South Waziristan but the security forces repulsed the attack and killed four militants. One security official was also martyred and three others injured in the incident. According to official sources, Pakistan Air Force jet planes bombed militants hideouts in Makeen, Sararogha and Shamozai areas and destroyed three bunkers of militants. According to political administration, curfew would be relaxed from 6am to 10pm in Miranshah, Mir Ali, Ghulam Khan, Datta Khel and Shawal. According to officials, six militants were arrested when security forces raided a house in Kajoori area of Tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency and also seized eight suspected vehicles in Tehsil Jamroad. The security forces destroyed several militants hideouts during search operation in Charmang area Bajaur Agency. According to Swat Media Centre, there would be relaxation in curfew from 8am to 6pm in district Shangla and Khawazakhela, Daresh Khela, Baidara, Madin and Matta areas of Swat, while curfew would relaxed from 6am to 8pm in Tehsil Maidan. According to locals, normalcy was seen returning to Swat and other violence-hit areas of Malakand division due to strict security arrangements made by security forces for displaced persons returning to their homes. Sources said that shops, markets and business centres were reported to have started opening in Mingora, Landakai, Goratni and Kota areas. According to NWFP govt, strict security arrangements have been made for the displaced persons and full security would be provided to them.
