The President of Pakistan is commended for conferring the prestigious Hilal-e-Quaid-e-Azam on US Congressman Chris Van Hollen for his meritorious services in support of Pakistan. Mr. Van Hollen spearheaded the Reconstruction Opportunity Zones (ROZ) Bill in the US House of Representatives. This Karachi-born politician is a thorough gentleman. Our ROZ advocacy delegation's meeting held in his chamber on the Capitol Hill, he was very encouraging about the plight of Pakistan. I would request the President to also confer HQA on Senator Maria Cantwell from Washington State. Ms Cantwell is the lead sponsor of the ROZ Bill in the US Senate and is also a passionate, pro-Pakistan advocate of this trailblazing legislation.
