Pak fully capable to meet challenges: Zardari

President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan is a strong and responsible country fully capable to meet the challenges facing it, report said. Speaking at a reception at Governor House on Friday, the President said, "Though we are facing daunting challenges, yet there is no need to be apologetic as Pakistan is neither weak nor failed state." The reception was attended among others by Governor Salman Taseer, Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, federal ministers, member of Punjab cabinet and elite of the town. Referring to challenge of terrorism, the President said that a small minority wants to impose its agenda, but they would not be allowed to succeed in their evil designs. Talking about his meeting with PML-N Mian Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind here, the President said, "It was fruitful and positive and we discussed different issues including matters pertaining to betterment of masses and challenges facing the motherland".
