LAHORE Former first class cricketer Tahir Shah has appealed the chief patron to save the game from the person who was called buffoon by former ICC chief executive. In a statement, he said that the chief patron should keep the game above all and remove Ijaz Butt from the PCB and appoint someone who would streamline Pakistan cricket on the right track. He said that he has chosen the right path for the game that irked Ijaz Butt who got him sacked from the job. He said that it was strange to see such a person holding an important office who did not stand by his decisions. Recently, he fined and banned the cricketers for indiscipline and later, coming under pressure revoked them, he added.
