LAHORE PPP Secretary General Senator Jahangir Badr has said that atmosphere of peace in the South Asia is in the interest of Pakistan and India so both countries must make efforts in this respect. Talking to media after appearing in a case in the accountability courts here Friday, Badr said mutual efforts of India and Pakistan can help maintaining peace in South Asia. Replying to a question, he said PPP would complete its constitutional term in the government and about the arrest of the assassins of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, he said, they would be arrested and brought to justice. He said it was also necessary to track down those who were behind the assassination of Benazir Bhutto as noted by the United Nations in its report. To a question about recent terrorist attacks in Lahore, he said that the people should be aware of the terrorists while it was duty of every institution to strengthen security arrangements when the terrorists were using different tactics to achieve their nefarious designs. To another question, he said Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had to do more hard work to reach the level of the best politician and administrator. Shahbaz should come up with a new strategy, he added.
