LAHORE The positive character of the youth will turn Pakistan into a real Islamic, democratic and welfare state. The youth should raise the standard of truth and honesty besides cultivating in them spirit of patriotism to combat and eradicate all evils from the society and to make the country prosperous and respectable in the comity of the nations. These views were expressed by the speakers during Phool Azadi Show at Nazriati Summer School (NSS) on Friday. The show was arranged by Monthly Phool at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan. Editor-in-Chief TheNation and Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust (NPT) Majid Nizami, Vice Chairman NPT Dr Rafique Ahmed, renowned Educationist Jamil Najam, Editor Monthly Phool Shoaib Mirza, renowned Calligrapher Khurished Gohar Qalm, President All Pakistan Private School Association Adeeb Javidani and Secretary NPT Shahid Rasheed attended the ceremony. Jamil Najam expressed his pleasure over visiting NSS. In his address, he praised the role of NPT and its Chairman Majid Nizami for providing ideological training to the youth. He advised the students to spread the message of NSS to their friends and near ones while feeling the need of ideological training of the members of other organisations like Girls Guide Association and Scouting etc. Adeeb Javidani emphasised the need to establish NSS throughout the country and called NPT to help the youth to overcome the fear created by terrorists. He said terrorism, sectarianism and ignorance were the hurdles in the way of countrys development. Shoaib Mirza, in his inaugural address, told the students that they were fortunate to get admission in NSS. He said now their responsibility was to spread the message of their institution to other students. The winner of international award of calligraphy, Ashraf Heera also expressed his pleasure over visiting NSS and informed the students about his achievements in calligraphy. He told that his teacher Khurished Gohar was behind his successes. Chief Minister Debate Competition winner, Aneesa Fatima and the students of NSS also spoke on the occasion. The teachers of NSS also awarded books at the ceremony.
